So Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee is now on sale!! I have not yet bought a copy but I will, yet I am not sure how I feel about it. A classic, iconic and more – it is all of these things but personally, I will read it first then pass comment later. I just feel there are so many books out there which deserve more praise.

More interestingly, yesterday Bill and I met Danka fiancée of Lucca, our favourite waiter in Il Mediterraneo in Glasgow. Danka is Polish and reads lots of Polish books. I am hoping she will point me in the direction of Polish stories for my Polish children in Eyemouth.

It’s getting very mixed reviews so far. I’m like you – I’ll read it eventually but I’m not in a hurry to do so. I’m enjoying a bit of non-fiction at the moment – Nick Robinson’s Election Notebook. So far, so good!
