Apologies as I haven’t blogged since the 18th. Not that I haven’t been busy!! I have been catching up with the Patron of Reading website and some new Reading websites which are so good with recommendations, tips and advice.
Firstly there is the Read Write Count website which will be a help to parents who want to help and encourage their children in a fun way. Then Read On Get On which is in conjunction with Ladybird Books will suit younger children.
My favourite is lovereading4kids with its choice of books from babies and toddlers, children of 3+, 5+, 7+, 9+, 11+, 13+ and young adults. Great for ideas!!
Good Reads has all sorts of books from picture books upwards and an unusual choice of graphic books and comics for older ones. I am a great fan of anything which encourages youngsters to read!!!
