I am in Eyemouth for a few days and the sun is shining and I have just visited Eyemouth Library to tell them about The Sincatcher’s Daughter by Melissa Salisbury, a new author. In fact this is her first book and it is lovely. The main character is 15 and she has a secret power which the queen uses to her advantage. This is a beautifully written book with an amazing front cover. I am not a fan of fantasy but this book takes my breath away!

As for Eyemouth folk who like reading, Margaret White likes anything by John Connelly and magic and Jane Thorburn likes Patricia Scanlon. They are looking for Shades of Love by Rosamund Pilcher to give to Marion Higgins who loved the TV version.
