When I was travelling back from Eyemouth yesterday, I met a young woman on the train. I get off at Johnstone and she was continuing to Kilwinning. She produced Johanna Basford’s beautiful book, Secret Garden An Inky Treasure Hunt and Colouring Book. Yes, a colouring book for adults!! I thought I was the only one who had one but, astonishingly, Johanna Basford has crossed the 100,000 mark and her books have become bang on trend. I asked the young woman why she had bought it and like me, she had bought it because colouring in is therapeutic. Correct!!
I also spoke to a proud gran from Springburn whose 5-year old grandson lives in Toryglen. This is for Charlie Heron. Your gran is so proud of you and the certificate for good work and excellent report you got from school. And I hear you love a book!! Well done, Charlie, and keep reading!!
