The Eyemouth children return to school today and I have already been in touch with Eyemouth Primary School teachers – Ms. Perryman and Ms. Siday. This is the year of the BIG Reading and Storytelling project which will continue until Friday, 23rd October, the day of the E.P.S. Storytelling Festival and we have so many ideas for activities to make Reading a great adventure.

Children who read enter a magical world of imagination. They meet exciting characters from other lands and what is better than becoming totally captivated by a book which inspires them to read another similar or different book, then another book until the Reading habit is built in.

Going to the library can become a secret pleasure. Find the correct book and Reading is with you for the rest of your life.
