This has been a great storytelling weekend with two sessions at the Eyemouth Museum for the annual Kirk Square Kitchen. Margaret Christison and I entertained 50 children and parents, all squashed into the mezzanine gallery above the museum, but we managed and we all had a great time.

Well done to Stuart, Cameron and Rebekah Haddow, Sophie and Anna who were visiting from Edinburgh, Carrie and Rory Gibson, Amy and Nicola Wright, and my pals Dani, Ellie-Mae and Daniel from Coldingham PS. Also today I met Alex Fernandes and his lovely gran Teresa in the library. Alex loves a book.

As for Keith Nairn, Head of Library Services Adult Section, he likes Wilbur Smith and John Le Carre, in fact anything with a lot of action.
