Lots to blog about this week!! Eyemouth PS returns tomorrow after the October week – Boo! But the Eyemouth PS Storytelling Festival takes place on Friday – Hurrah! What excitement!
This year we have nine storytellers – Ron and Fergus of Macastory, Marie Louise Cochrane who is Mrs. Mash, Donald Nelson from Balloch near Glasgow, Margaret Christine from East Lothian, Robert Howat all the way from Lanarkshire and Sahand Sahebdivani and Raphael Rodan from Israel and Iran – and me. The theme is Stories without Borders and we are certainly keeping to the rules with storytellers from far away places.
I also bought a lovely new book yesterday. I ordered it from Waterston’s then forgot all about it. So the Waterston’s staff have been phoning me to remind me to collect. I had even forgotten which book it was. Now I know!! It’s a beautiful book called The Book with No Pictures by B J. Novak. I’ve mentioned it before but now that I have got it, it’s even better than I expected. Will the kids of Eyemouth PS like it too, I wonder!
Are you still reading and did you read over the October holiday?
