I was down in Eyemouth again, this week, but not to visit the primary school. Hopefully I will visiting the school at the end of this coming week to take more children to the library. But I did bump into so many of the children who went to the library last time. Some have finished their book and need to know they can return their book to the library and get another one. You don’t need to be told, you know! The trick is to choose a book you want, whether it is a big or a quick read or it has a great cover or smashing illustrations. Your choice!
Three places now have Patron of Reading Storytelling Boxes – Oblo, The Rialto and as from Thursday, Mackays, all of Eyemouth. Thank you for thinking this is a good idea and for taking the Patron of Reading scheme on board.
Tomorrow, Sunday, will be Quiz Number Two. It will be slightly different as it will a Guess the Character Quiz. Again there will be three – one for P1-3, then P4-5 and P6-7. I warn you this week it will be quite tricky, but there will be wee prizes. I’ve already handed them into the school.
