My new friend Barbara used to be a school librarian in a school of 2000 pupils. She swears by all books by Dr. Seuss. Remember The Cat in the Hat and How the Grinch Stole Christmas? Dr. Seuss wrote over 60 books for children of all ages so big people can have a swatch as well. There’s nothing to stop you.

These would be perfect for the Summer Reading Challenge and if children say they don’t or can’t read a book then try Dr. Seuss. It might be you haven’t found the right book yet. Here’s your chance to prove yourself wrong.

And if you are going to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge, get down to the library and give it a go – then tell me about it!!
