Last week I met a very interesting lady from Reston, Christine Cockburn. She is a prolific reader and her favourite authors are Stuart McBride, Martina Cole and James Oswald, whom I don’t know. I am going to give all three a try. Thank you for this, Christine.
On another note I have just been recommended an excellent website – www.healthybooks.org.uk. All the books, and there are many, deal with issues experienced by children. They range from irrational fears in toddlers to really serious issues like drinking, a death in the family and substance abuse. All the titles are age related which will help families, schools and other organisations.
I am so pleased to have found this website as I am constantly asked to recommend help books like this.
