Something really interesting has popped up. The Royal Society is looking for judging panels of pupils up to the age of 14 who would like to take part in The Royal Society’s Young People’s Book Prize for the best science themed book for young people. Normally science/science themed books slip through the net so this is your chance to make a difference. Registration must take place before April, 25th for 2016, so there is plenty of time to receive your pack of books.

On Wednesday, there were 75 groups in England alone and since then, three groups have registered in Northern Ireland and two in Scotland, one in Dundee and one in Edinburgh. There are no groups as yet in the Borders. So it’s now over to you!

Patrons of Reading are being asked to take part as we see it as part of reading for fun and pleasure and so far I have heard of Zoe Loft and Andy Seed. All very exciting!!!

Happy Reading!!!
